Thanks Jake Holden for coming out to play! Huge thanks to Penske Racing Shocks, and GP Suspension for their support, to Pirelli for some amazing grip, Cortech for the best leathers I’ve ever ridden in, and to Shoei for the awesome X-Twelve helmets. We couldn’t do this without the help of our sponsors, so help us by supporting the companies that make this possible.

Homestead Miami XR 1200 Race

Homestead Miami XR 1200 race……First off I have to thank Mob Racing and Krys Moto for putting this xr program together for me!!! This was a new track for me so with crazy weather conditions I only got 1 dry session to get comfortable with the bike before the race. Race started off good I was running right with lead pack eager to make a plunge on last couple laps but ended up having some sprocket bolts snap along with my shifter with 2 laps to go. For the most part it was great to be out there racing and hanging out with my racing family…..Also have to thank my clothing sponsor for supplying me with great Jake Holden shirts for the weekend http://americanroadracer.com/

Get Jake to the next race!

All of the hard work and years of dedication to be a race winner at the PRO AMA National level, provided Jake the opportunity of a lifetime. With the support and encouragement of his long time friend and sponsor, Memorial Day Weekend 2012 provided Jake the opportunity to ride the World Superbike class for Team Grillini Progea at Miller Motorsports Park. Could Jake’s lifetime dream become a reality?Jake World Super Bike 3

Jake finished both races placing 19th in race one and 18th in race two. Getting Jake fit to the bike, making suspension adjustments, along with learning how to communicate, proved to be some of the challenges for the team. In race one, Jake went down, but that didn’t stop him from finishing the race. He picked the bike up, started it, and finished 1 lap down. In race two he finished on the lead lap. His determination and dedication led the team to ask him to finish out the WSBK season riding for them.

Born and raised in the USA and proud to wear the American colors, Jake’s desire to ride the number 16 World Superbike for the Italian Team Grillini Progea while traveling to the many countries on the WSBK circuit was very tempting. After making many calls trying to get the necessary sponsorship for him to compete overseas it was inevitable this wasn’t meant to be. So now a new chapter for Jake will begin.

Thanks for all the support from everyone that made it possible to compete in Daytona, Atlanta, Infineon Raceway and Miller Motorsports Park.

  • Daytona was Great! 6th Place in the points standings.
  • Jake Holden has finished third overall in two AMA National Championships in the last four years.
  • Holden is a multiple AMA race winner and podium finisher.
  • Holden is an AMA Superbike lap record holder.

Jake remains focused on training and fulfilling his dream. With some recent support Jake Holden will ride for Holden Racing LLC at Mazda Raceway Laguna Seca, July 27 – 29. The current plan is to compete on the AMA Superbike at Laguna Seca, New Jersey Motorsports Park, Homestead-Miami Speedway and NOLA Motorsports Park. There are still promotional opportunities to help sponsor Jake so he can race these last four races of the 2012 season.

Updates and photos will be posted to the website so check back regularly. Thanks again to all of the long time and new supporters that have made this opportunity possible for Jake.
